Pep Guardiola sends cheeky message to Manchester United over Man City treble chances

Pep Guardiola joked Manchester United need not be scared that Manchester City are still in the hunt for a treble this season after the Blues booked their place in the FA Cup final.

City beat Sheffield United to set up an FA Cup final against either Man United or Brighton, and kept their hopes of three trophies alive. Victory over Premier League leaders Arsenal would put City in pole position for the title, while they face a Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.

Guardiola tried to downplay any talk of a treble on Friday, but it was put to him at Wembley that there are some nerves within the United fanbase that City could emulate their 1999 achievement of winning all three titles in a season.
