Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he 'supports' Jurgen Klopp's comments on the fixture schedule, but admits 'it is not going to change'.
Klopp was left far from happy at the fact his side will have to play Newcastle United in the early 12:30 Saturday kick-off later this month, just days after the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie against Villarreal. He hit out at the tight turn around ahead of his side's win over Benfica earlier this week.
The Liverpool boss said: "If we play a Champions League semi-final, find me another league in the world and another broadcaster who would put the one team in the semi-finals on at 12.30. It’s like: What? What are you doing? Why would you do that? That’s why it’s so difficult, that’s why it never happens, because nobody cares."

City face a slightly kinder schedule surrounding the Champions League semi-finals, with a Tuesday, Saturday, Wednesday run of games. Guardiola, though, says he supports Jurgen Klopp's complaints '100%',
He told his press conference on Friday: "I would prefer to what Jurgen said but I am not going to say a word so it is not going to change. It makes no sense. I support 100% Jurgen.
"Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Jose (Mourinho), they have all said the same but you must adapt. It is not going to change. Broadcasters will always be there. Do whatever you want as I am too busy preparing my team.
"I don't say anything about it. Sometimes you play different times, it is the situation it is what it is. It happened for one reason because we are fighting for all the titles. Does not happen if you are not battling for the titles.
"It is not ideal we know that, I tell the players to sleep and have massages. At 3.30pm we will be there to try and win the game"
