Pep Guardiola has confirmed Erling Haaland has ligament damage and is a doubt for Manchester City's remaining fixtures before the World Cup.
Haaland, 22, suffered a foot injury in the goalless draw against his former club Borussia Dortmund in October and was forced to miss the games against Sevilla and Leicester. He scored the winner on his comeback against Fulham at the Etihad on Saturday.
Although Haaland played in City's most recent game, Guardiola insists the Norwegian is still nursing his foot complaint and faces a fitness test ahead of fixtures against Chelsea in the EFL Cup on Wednesday and Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.
