Pep Guardiola has delivered his verdict on Newcastle United after the Magpies held his side to a 3-3 draw at St James' Park.
The former Barcelona boss feels that United have grown as a team since the 5-0 hiding served up by City at the Etihad Stadium only four months ago. But he could not deny Newcastle their moment after they stormed into a 3-1 lead and threatened to cause an upset in the Super Sunday clash.
Guardiola said: "We could have not won. Newcastle are becoming one of the toughest opponents for sure.
