Pep Guardiola believes that the title race between Manchester City and Liverpool will not be determined by goal difference.
The Reds are engrossed in a battle for the Premier League trophy with Man City, with five matches left to play. Liverpool are currently one point behind City, but do have a slightly superior goal difference.
Jurgen Klopp’s side take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park in today’s early kick-off, while Guardiola’s side travel to face Leeds United at Elland Road this evening. Liverpool’s goal difference is currently four better than Man City, but could easily change within the five fixtures that remain.
