Pep Guardiola believes the current Premier League table is 'fake' because Liverpool have a game in hand on his Manchester City side.
Jurgen Klopp’s side continued their impressive form with a hard-fought 1-0 win over West Ham United at Anfield on Saturday evening.
Sadio Mane’s first-half goal was enough for the Reds, who moved three points behind City in the table following the win.
However, just under 24 hours later, City restored their six point lead at the top after hammering arch-rivals Manchester United at the Etihad.

A Kevin De Bruyne brace in the first-half came either side of a Jadon Sancho strike for Ralf Rangnick’s side.
But United were simply second best in the second-half, and City sealed all three points thanks to a Riyad Mahrez double.
And speaking after the game at the Etihad, Guardiola revealed that his dream is for his side to be crowned league champions at the end of the season.
"The truth is that in the last years when we lost against them [United] we were already champions. Today we play for if we don't win, we have to win all the games to be champion," he said.

"I have the feeling many tight games are going to happen. We are six points [ahead of Liverpool ] but it is fake because we have played one more game.
“If we are stable mentally and hopefully recover Nathan Ake as soon as possible and the other guys come back, game by game we will see what happens.
"My dream is that we will be there until the end."
