Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has claimed that he would be willing to stay with the Premier League champions ‘forever’ in what would likely be a major blow to Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. The Spaniard arrived at the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2016 and has masterminded a hugely successful period since then.
The club have claimed three Premier League titles, an FA Cup, four League Cups, as well as having reached the Champions League final under Guardiola ’s stewardship, with the rest of their domestic rivals - barring Liverpool - left behind. His current deal is only set to run until the summer of 2023 and has been linked with taking over the Brazilian national team.
However, when asked about those rumours, Guardiola confirmed his commitment to Manchester City, claiming that he would be willing to stay for however long the club want him for.
