Pep Guardiola insists neither Manchester City nor Liverpool are the best team in the world despite being the Premier League's top two.

Instead the former Barcelona boss believes Chelsea, the current champions of Europe, are the best side on the planet alongside River Plate, as the top team in South America.

The Blues, led by Thomas Tuchel, beat Guardiola's side in the Champions League final back in May.
