People urged to call 999 if they see missing teenage girls who may have travelled to Greater Manchester

People have been urged to call 999 if they see two missing teenage girls who may have travelled to Greater Manchester. Robyn Vaughan, 14 and Emmie Towers 15, are believed to be together and may now be in Hale.

Merseyside Police are appealing for information to trace the teenagers who were last seen on Wednesday evening (July 5). Robyn, from Eastham, was last seen at her home at around 8.30pm.

Emmie, from New Brighton, was last seen walking to the shops near her home at around 9.40pm the same evening. Since then, enquiries have suggested the pair were in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of Thursday (July 6).

Investigations so far have led police to believe the two girls may have travelled to Hale, in Trafford. The girls are believed to be together and anyone with information is being urged to call 999.

Merseyside Police said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for Emmie and Robyn’s welfare, and are appealing for anyone who may have seen them to contact us on 999, so we can make sure they’re safe and well."

Robyn is described as white with green eyes, 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build with shoulder-length blonde hair. She was wearing a black baggy t-shirt, light grey/blue leggings, and black socks with furry black sliders. She was carrying a black shoulder bag.

Emmie is described as white with blue eyes, approximately 5ft 1ins tall, of slim build and with long black hair. She was wearing a black top, black and white baseball jacket, black trousers, a black cap and black and white chunky Converse trainers.
