The supermoon lit-up skies over Ireland on Thursday night and can be seen again on Friday in the glorious weather.
But many stargazers missed another rare sight as Saturn could be clearly seen floating through the sky, albeit much smaller than the moon.
One Irishman, Simon Cochrane, even grabbed the attention of the official Google Twitter account as he tweeted an incredible video of the planet floating across the sky.

Friday will be just as good to see the supermoon again at least with it rising at 9:55pm. Saturday is nearly as good, rising at 10:11pm.
Chairman of Astronomy Ireland and Editor of Astronomy Ireland magazine, David Moore said: "This is the fourth and final Super Moon of 2022. If people in Ireland miss this one, they will have to wait until July next year, and, of course, we cannot guarantee the weather in July next year will be as good as what is forecast for this week."
Astronomy Ireland magazine is asking people to send photos or written comments of their observation for publication in a special review of the event, see www.astronomy.ie
To take the best possible photo on your phone, make sure the flash is off, try night mode and tap on the moon. Zooming in before taking the photo can also hinder the image quality.
