A woman who was born with severe hearing loss has spoken about the discrimination she has faced while dating. Lily Azeez says she has had to face discriminatory and ableist language while out with potential partners.
The 25-year-old has recalled a number of dates from hell she has been on and the horrible message she has received like being told she was being dated 'out of pity. Lily also described the instances where people have hurled abuse at her and gone as far as trying to take her hearing aids from her.
