A gang of thugs barricaded a road and shined a laser pen at a bus driver on a housing estate.
Merseyside Police were called on Wednesday evening (October 19) following reports of antisocial behaviour of a group of kids on Twickenham Drive. It was reported to police that at around 9pm youths put barriers in the road, causing an obstruction, and shined laser pens towards the vehicle.
Officers attended a short time later and the bus had made off, with no barriers found in the road. CCTV enquiries are continuing.

Arriva has now announced they would be restricting its 413, 414 and 423 services from stopping on the Leasowe estate after 6pm - effective immediately. Buses will now be diverted via Leasowe Castle "until further notice".
Arriva is the only travel provider that visits the estate after 6pm, with people only being able to us a train, taxi or car after this time.
An Arriva spokesperson said: "We have had a number of instances of antisocial behaviour during the evening on the Leasowe Estate in the area of Twickenham Drive, affecting our services 413,414,423. Due to these incidents services will be diverted of and evening (from 6pm) with immediate effect and until further notice, via Leasowe Castle.
"We are working closely with Travel-Safe to try and alleviate the poor behaviour, all incidents have been reported to the police and CCTV downloaded to aid in any investigations."
Community Policing Inspector Alan McKeon said: “We’re aware of recent reports of anti-social behaviour in Leasowe and will continue to respond to incidents. The dangers of obstructing a road and shining laser pens are clear to see, this could cause a serious collision so if you were on the bus or nearby and have any information to help us confirm what happened, please let us know.
“We’re constantly speaking to residents, businesses and partners to tackle reports of anti-social behaviour and will use all our available powers to reduce the harm and distress this behaviour causes. As we come up to the Halloween and Bonfire Night period, extra resources will be in place to ensure we are in the areas affected. Information is vital to ensure that this is effective, and I’d encourage anyone with information to report it to us directly.”
