HYDERABAD: The Congress on Monday said the people of Telangana were disappointed as neither the BJP's national executive meeting nor Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke a word about the promises made to Telangana state in the AP State Reorganisation Act.
Reacting to the BJP's NEC followed by PM's public meeting and the ruling TRS trying to counter the onslaught by the saffron party, the Congress leaders threw a challenge at TRS and BJP to come for a debate on the numerous promises made in their respective election manifestos and why many of them were not implemented.
