As a child, we're taught to believe a few things - the tooth fairy takes teeth from underneath your pillow and leaves some money, Santa Claus is real, and we pick pumpkins directly from their place of growth. However, a new video, which has been posted to popular video-streaming service TikTok, disproves this claim about pumpkin patches, with many shocked to learn the truth.
A TikTok user named Chrissy Schmogs sadly admitted that her annual Halloween tradition had been ruined and her "whole life" had been a 'lie' as she shared the truth in a clip, which has now surpassed a whopping 2.7 million views. Visiting a local farm to undergo some seasonal pumpkin picking for carving, she was left gobsmacked by what she saw.
