Pentagon confirms seventh US soldier killed in Iran war

A US service member died on Saturday night from injuries sustained during an attack on US troops in Saudi Arabia on 1 March.
This death marks the seventh service member killed in action during Operation Epic Fury, a conflict with Iran.
The identity of the deceased service member has not yet been released, pending notification of their next of kin.
Six other US Army Reserve members were previously killed by a drone strike at a command centre in Kuwait.
These six soldiers died shortly after the US and Israel initiated a joint military campaign against Iran, with President Donald Trump attending their dignified transfer.
