Army Secretary Dan Driscoll did not simply disappear from the Pentagon. Before submitting his resignation, he reportedly raised serious concerns with President Donald Trump about the impact of Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth's leadership decisions on the Army.
According to people familiar with the matter, Driscoll told Trump that Hegseth's removal of experienced Army leaders was damaging the service and shrinking the pool of officers available for future senior commands.
