"Pent-up demand" that was released when Covid-19 restrictions eased helped slash losses at the owner of Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands airports.
Manchester Airports Group has posted pre-tax losses of £28.2m for the six months to September 30, 2022, compared to £105.2m during the same period in 2021.
Revenue increased from £159m to £537.6m while group passenger numbers jumped 362.1% from 6.6 million to 30.5 million, 84% of pre-pandemic levels.
