A pensioner was cut from a Porsche before being airlifted to hospital following a serious road crash in Fife.
Emergency services were called to Golf Club Lane in Elie on Wednesday afternoon after a casualty was reported to be trapped in a vehicle. A 76-year-old man was flown to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee by air ambulance.
Pictures from the scene showed a grey Porsche which had crashed into a wall near the beach. An area appeared to be cordoned off while fire crews cut the OAP from the motor.
