Pensioner attacked outside Leeds Aldi in anti-Semitic hate crime

A pensioner has been attacked outside a Leeds Aldi supermarket in an anti-Semitic hate crime. On Wednesday, October 26, a man in his 70s was crossing Stanningley Road in Bramley to go to Aldi.

Soon after, around 6.55pm, he was approached by a man on a pedal bike. The cyclist was travelling the wrong way on the cycle path without lights. The suspect then swore at the man and threatened him with violence.

A security guard from the store intervened and the suspect then left the scene. He then came back to and was aggressive towards the victim again.
