A recent incident in Pennsylvania has shocked the nation as a 20-year-old man attempted to assassinate former President Trump during a rally in Butler. The assailant, identified as Thomas Crooks, accessed a roof firing perch by climbing up an air conditioning unit, as reported by sources.
Crooks used an AR rifle, believed to belong to his father, to fire shots during the rally. One of the bullets struck Trump in the ear, while another tragically resulted in the death of a rally attendee.
Prior to the shooting, Crooks purchased a ladder from a local Home Depot, but surprisingly, he did not use it to scale the building located approximately 150 yards away from where Trump was speaking. Instead, he utilized an air conditioning unit adjacent to the building as a foothold to climb on top of the structure.
The fact that Crooks was able to position himself so close to Trump, despite the presence of local police and Secret Service agents, has raised concerns and prompted criticism from various quarters.
