Penneys announce that Scrumdiddly's will pop-up in four more stores in time for summer heatwave

Penneys have confirmed that they will expand their partnership with the iconic Scrumddidly's ice-cream parlour in four more stores.

Already, the popular sweet treats are available in the flagship Mary Street store and in Swords - but now, they will open in Blanchardstown, Sligo, Killarney and Derry.

The Blanchardstown offering will open on Saturday, with Sligo set to get the parlour in April, Killarney in May and Derry "later in the summer."

The pop-up ice cream parlours at Penneys stores will feature the full Scrumdiddly’s offering including the delicious Reese’s Special and the Berry Delight crepe.

Prices will start at €2.50 for a Scrummy Scoop and customers will also be able to pick up the signature Penneys ice cream creation, The Penneylicious; a fully edible wafer eco tub filled with Scrumdiddly’s famous dairy ice cream, gooey brownie chunks, cookie dough pieces topped with a brand-new White Cookies & Cream sauce developed by Scrumdiddly’s, exclusively for Penneys.

Primark’s Director of New Business Development, Tim Kelly said: “At Penneys, we continually look to enhance the in-store experience that engages our customers in the fun and fashion of the brand and are delighted with the success and popularity of our Scrumdiddly’s partnership so far. With our Dublin parlours serving thousands of customers to date, we are excited to be able to bring the much-loved Scrumdiddly’s ice cream offering to even more Penneys shoppers.”

Jennifer McCormack, Founder of Scrumdiddly’s said: “The partnership with Penneys, one of Ireland’s best loved brands, was a natural fit for us and we are absolutely delighted to expand and bring the Scrumdiddly’s experience across the country and land in even more Penneys stores this year.”
