Tensions have reportedly been mounting between the Peltz and Beckham families ever since Nicola Peltz married Brooklyn Beckham in Palm Beach, Florida in April.
The spat began shortly after the nuptials when actress Nicola, 27, clashed with mother-in-law Victoria Beckham over her wedding dress, which was revealed to be a custom Valentino couture rather than designed by Posh herself.
Now, according to DailyMail.com, sources have revealed that the two houses have also been at loggerheads over several other issues surrounding the big day.
Once source said Nicola never intended to wear a dress designed by Victoria, who also 'stole' the newlywed's first dance song for her own mother-groom dance.
"She (Nicola) was always just going to let her design something. But she was never going put that on her. She has too many actually talented designer friends," the source explained.
"It's like when you have an in-law, and they say they make the best meatballs, you hate meatballs, but you let them cook it anyway. That's exactly what happened. She was never, ever going to wear it."
Contrary to the insider's comments, however, heiress Nicola told Variety recently: "I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn't do it, so then I had to pick another dress."
A second source claiming to have knowledge of the dress issues, meanwhile, believes Nicola was considering a Posh-designed dress, but turned the opportunity down following a last-minute hitch.
The source went on to explain that Valentino was concerned they 'didn't have time to do the dress because Victoria didn't tell the Peltzes that her atelier couldn't make the dress for Nicola until the last minute'.
Nicola is alleged to have later stormed out the reception after taking offence to guest and singer-songwriter Marc Anthony who gave a 'gushing' speech all about Victoria.
Anthony's 'You Sang To Me' was the song in question that Victoria is claimed to have 'stolen'.
