Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently had a private conversation with President Joe Biden, where she expressed concerns about his chances of defeating Donald Trump in the 2024 election. According to sources briefed on the call, Pelosi shared polling data indicating that Biden might struggle against Trump and could harm Democrats' chances of winning the House in November if he seeks a second term.

During the conversation, Biden reportedly pushed back, mentioning that he had seen polls suggesting he could win. Pelosi even asked Biden's adviser, Mike Donilon, to join the call to discuss the data further. This marks the second known conversation between Pelosi and Biden since the president's debate on June 27.
