Fans of Pedro Pascal have discovered he made an appearance in Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1999.
Pedro Pascal has shot to superstardom recently as fans have fallen in love with his roles in The Last of Us and The Mandalorian. But, before all of that, he featured in an episode of the cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Pascal appeared in one episode of the TV show, playing Eddie in the first episode of season four 'The Freshman'. The show follows Sarah Michelle Gellar as the title character alongside Alyson Hannigan as Willow, Nicholas Brendon as Xander, and Anthony Stewart Head as Giles.

Pascal, credited as Pedro Balmaceda, has a short-lived appearance on Buffy. He plays Eddie, a fellow Freshman Buffy meets on her first day UC Sunnydale, and the pair bond over feeling overwhelmed at starting college. When they part ways, Eddie is attacked by a group of vampires who ransack his room and try to make it appear as though he left college, too frightened by the new environment.
The next day, Buffy is the only person to realise he is missing, and begins a search for him before she runs into him as a newly turned vampire that night. She stakes him, and then must contend with the group of vampires who turned him.
Fans of Pedro Pascal's new works might enjoy seeing him play a more meek, insecure character compared to his roles as the confident Joel, or even as the Red Viper in Game of Thrones.
Buffy Summers herself posted about his appearance on the show, and fans were going wild in the comments. One person said: "NO ONE TOLD ME PEDRO WAS DEAD EDDIE" and another said: "This makes me so happy".
