Residents claim crossing a busy junction is like 'playing Russian roulette'.
Last month, John Carine told of concerns about the pedestrian crossing on the junction of Liverpool Road and Page Moss Avenue near the McDonald's. He said residents have been 'constantly complaining' about the number of crashes and near misses over the years as cars drive through the central reservation.
However, further concerns were raised over the weekend after another crash, with residents saying "nothing is being done" about pedestrian safety.

Knowsley Council previously confirmed that in response to concerns a number of years ago, signal timings on traffic lights at the junction were changed. In response to recent concerns, new road markings will be implemented, but residents say more needs to be done.
John told the ECHO: "I think there needs to be a box junction or even filter lanes for what way to turn and when to turn. It's a shame it's come to this. There's a woman on the Page Moss Chat Facebook Page who said a woman broke their pelvis after a recent crash.
"I did contact the council to say something needed to be done and they put signs in but it did nothing to address pedestrian safety. It's a nightmare junction this, it's like playing Russian Roulette, something needs to be done before there's a fatality. It's only a matter of time."
Reports of a crash were made on social media at around lunchtime on Friday, April 8 as a pedestrian reportedly sustained injuries. One person commented the road was an "accident waiting to happen" while another added "something needs to be done on that road, it's dangerous".
Another resident said: "That's the worst junction ever. The council needs to sort this asap, or next time a person won't be so lucky." A fourth wrote it was a "death trap".
Merseyside Police confirmed they were called on April 8 to reports of a collision involving a female pedestrian and blue Audi 4 on Liverpool Road. North West Ambulance Service was also in attendance.
A spokesperson for Knowsley Council said: “Our Highways Team are looking into the incident and will liaise with Merseyside Police to find out more about the cause of the road traffic collision. This information will then be used as part of an assessment of the junction to establish if further action is needed. The team are also in the process of improving road markings at the junction to improve safety."
