A pedestrian was rushed to hospital after a vehicle struck her yesterday evening (Friday December 16) in Rutherglen.
The incident, involving a woman and a van, took place at around 6.20 pm on Dalmarnock Road.
Emergency services sped to the scene to provide treatment to the woman who was then taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.20pm on Friday, 16 December, 2022, police received a report of a crash involving a van and a female pedestrian in Dalmarnock Road, Rutherglen.
"Emergency services attended and the pedestrian was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow."
