Pedestrian killed by car on M25 had just been stopped and arrested on suspicion of drug driving

A man who was killed in a crash on the M25 on Thursday near Romford had been arrested on suspicion of drug driving before the fatal collision.

Essex Police stopped the man, aged in his 20s, on the clockwise section of the major motorway between Junction 29 and 28 at around noon.
