A man is in hospital in a critical condition after a "serious" crash between two vehicles and a pedestrian, police have confirmed.
The hospitalised individual is the pedestrian, police have said, and their injuries from the collision have been categorised as "serious".
The incident happened at around 10.50am on Sunday, January 23, on the B4317 near Ffos Las, Carmarthenshire. It's understood the vehicles were travelling towards Trimsaran, near Llanelli, at the time.

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses to the collision, or anyone living in the area with CCTV or 'Ring' doorbells, to contact the investigation team.
A police statement explained: "Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 10:50am on Sunday, January 23, on the B4317 near to Ffos Las, heading towards Trimsaran.
"The collision involved two vehicles and a pedestrian. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries and is currently in hospital where his condition has been described as critical."
The statement continued: "The two vehicles involved are a black Mercedes SLK and a grey Honda Jazz.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw these vehicles in the area at the relevant times or anyone living in the area with CCTV or ring doorbells is asked to contact the investigation team with any information.
