Emergency services have raced to Lanark after a pedestrian is believed to have been knocked down by a lorry driver .
Police, fire and ambulance crews all rushed to the scene after they received reports of the incident on High Street at around 2.50pm today.
Officers have cordoned off the area and emergency services remain on the scene.
The condition of the pedestrian who was struck by the vehicle is currently unknown.

Access to High Street has been closed in both directions and diversions are currently in place.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.50pm on Monday, 3 July 2023 police received a report of a crash involving a lorry and pedestrian on High Street, Lanark.
"Emergency services are at the scene and High Street has been closed in both directions with diversions in place."
