Pedestrian dies after being hit by car on A720 Edinburgh City Bypass

Edinburgh City Bypass Police

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car on the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass.

Emergency services raced to the eastbound section of the bypass near Straiton junction at around 5.10am on Saturday September 3.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics at the location, the 25-year-old pedestrian was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
