THE music of Scottish folk sensations Peat & Diesel is to feature in a new Disney series.
In a tweet, the Lewis-based band said they were delighted to be asked by Disney for the use of their music in the superhero comedy series Extraordinary.
The show is set in a world where everyone over the age of 18 - except a character called Jen - develops a superpower.
It comes after the band have enjoyed continuing success with their fun-loving songs about the life in the Western Isles.
The band said: "Delighted and privileged to be asked by Disney+ for use of our music on one of the episodes of “Extraordinary” which will premiere today on the channel.

Recently they filled the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall for Celtic Connections after enjoying sold-out dates at famous venues such as the Barrowlands.
In 2019, they were in the running for the UK iTunes Christmas number one spot with Fairytale of Stornoway, a song featuring Gaelic singer Mairead Nicholson.
Last summer, the band made a headline appearance at the Highlands' Belladrum music festival after making a dash from Stornoway with just 12 hours' notice, replacing Eurovision star Sam Ryder.
