A PE teacher who is alleged to have slept with a pupil at a Glasgow hotel has been struck off the teaching register.
Melissa Tweedie, 27, was banned from her profession this week after a disciplinary panel heard that she spent the night at a Premier Inn with an 18- year-old boy.
The former teacher at Gleniffer High in Paisley was judged unfit to teach by a panel amid claims that she had sexual intercourse with a pupil at the budget hotel in Glasgow after a school leavers' night at SWG3 in June 2017.
