NEW DELHI: Doctor Sohail Saleem, Director of Medical and Sports Sciences, and the Pakistan Cricket Board's chief medical officer, tendered his resignation on Thursday, following the submission of a detailed report by the independent three-member Medical Committee regarding Ihsanullah's right elbow injury.
The 21-year-old cricketer sustained the elbow injury back in April 2023, during a white-ball series against New Zealand. Despite the injury, there had been a lack of updates on Ihsanullah's condition. Last month, he travelled to Manchester, England, for treatment related to his elbow injury.
