Pc Andrew Harper’s former force is considering joining potential legal action against the Government as his widow backed a petition to block his killers being released from prison early.
Lissie Harper described feeling “punched in the gut” by the decision to push ahead with plans that could see Jessie Cole and Albert Bowers freed as part of a scheme starting in October.
