Thankfully, the paw-some crew of the Dublin Fire Brigade came to the rescue of the trio.

Firefighters from North Strand managed to bring all three to safety.

A spokesperson for the Dublin Fire Brigade said: "Firefighters from North Strand rescued Bella the Dog from the Royal Canal this morning.

"Bella’s owner and a concerned passer-by tried to help the stranded dog but were unable to and got stuck themselves. They were assisted out of the water by the ‘A’ Watch crew."
