Paulo Dybala to Chelsea: Roma striker on transfer interest after Jose Mourinho comments

Paulo Dybala has spoken for the first time about his Roma future amid links with Chelsea.

The Argentine is reportedly of interest to Mauricio Pochettino at Stamford Bridge, who last week conducted his first press conference as Blues boss and opened the door for a further striker signing.

Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku have already come through the door this transfer window, but with Romelu Lukaku expected to leave then Pochettino could look to bring in a new face and his countryman is reportedly of interest.

Dybala was in England over the weekend, attending both Wimbledon and the British Grand Prix, to raise questions over a move to the Blues, but the striker insists he is not looking to leave Roma.

He told LaRoma24: "I’m motivated for pre-season, which we’re starting [on Monday]. My future? I’m happy at Roma. I’m staying here."

Jose Mourinho has also been asked about Dybala's future and reports of a €12m (£10.2m) release clause in his contract.

But Mourinho insists he is in the dark, telling reporters: "I don’t know anything about his contract. But obviously I talk to Paulo like I do with all of my players."
