Both Chelsea and Tottenham have been credited with an interest in Paulo Dybala in recent times, but they have now been dealt a blow in the reported race to sign him.
The 28-year-old sees his contract with Juventus expire at the end of the season, with talks ongoing between the club and the Argentine's entourage over a possible extension.
However, with less than six months remaining on the deal, Dybala is inevitably being strongly linked with an exit from the Allianz Stadium - with Chelsea and Tottenham said to be keeping an eye on his situation in Turin.
According to Italian football journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio, though, the Argentina international wants to stay at Juventus and he believes the £66million arrival of Dusan Vlahovic can actually help Dybala stay at the club.
Speaking to Wettfreunde, Di Marzio said: "Dybala wants to stay at Juventus otherwise he would have signed with another club. He can sign with every club now because he's free.
"If he decided to wait for Juventus' appointment at the end of February, it is because he wants to stay. It depends on what offer Juventus will give to Paulo and his agent.
"I think that the Dusan Vlahovic transfer can actually help Dybala to stay and not let him go away.
"Dybala understood that Juventus wants to create an important club for the future and the feeling with Vlahovic was, from the beginning, very exciting and amazing on and off the field."
Di Marzio also believes it all depends on the offer Dybala and his agent receive - and his future could potentially be decided in the "next 10 days".
"Juventus had an agreement with him in October for almost €8million plus two bonuses. Then Juventus said to Paulo, we have to wait and discuss in February," he added.
"So probably Juventus wanted to see how Dybala reacted on the field and how the team would perform.
"It depends on what Juventus will say to Dybala and his agent in the next 10 days. If they arrive and say - 'Oh, this is the offer, €5-6million' - obviously Dybala will say I will go somewhere else.
"If they will arrive with an important offer, like €7million plus bonus or something like that, I think Dybala will stay."
Even if Dybala did leave Juventus, then there would be no guarantee that he would switch to the Premier League. Di Marzio does not think the Argentine attacker is ready for England.
He added: "If he is free, obviously he can go to Inter, he can go to Barcelona. Probably Serie A or La Liga is the better option for him.
"I don't think Premier League. He needs to improve his intensity, to be decisive, in Premier League."
