Paulo Dybala offered Arsenal transfer meeting as Ian Wright regrets Edu's January agreement

Welcome to our football.london The Arsenal Way daily news round-up. Maybe not the first, we've definitely done transfer round-ups before, and European round-ups, so I guess in some ways it's not that new at all.

Anyway, we thought we would enter the world of football in a broad and roundabout manner for you and have some fun with some of the stories and captions doing the daily rounds.

Lyon adamant on re-signing Lazazette

After Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s departure to Barcelona, it looks like Arsenal could look to be losing another striker in the summer transfer window. Alexandre Lacazette sees his contract expire at the end of the season.

90min have reported that Arsenal have no intention of offering the French international another contract and could leave North London on a free transfer in June.

But Lyon the club where Lacazette started his career, scoring 129 goals for the Ligue 1 club. The club’s president, Jean-Michel Aulas has made his feeling on bringing back the striker clear, “We will do our best to sign Lacazette in June. We will make every effort possible for his return to Lyon.”

Our take: And the Arsenal striker crisis continues.

Ian Wright ‘sad to see’ Auba leave

Speaking on the Wrighty’s House podcast, Ian Wright has said that it was ‘sad to see’ Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leave the club and make the switch to Barcelona.

The former player said, “‘The saddest thing for me was that we don’t know what’s happened. I’m not really bothered to know what has happened now with him and Mikel. What couldn’t be healed in a time where we need goals.

“I’m quite disappointed that somewhere along the line something couldn’t have been resolved. But it’s not resolved, he’s gone and I’m sad to see him go.”

Arsenal given chance to talk with Dybala

Paulo Dybala’s contract talks with Juventus on a stay beyond the current season have broken down and could look at moving on from the Turin club.

90min have reported that numerous clubs including Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea have all been offered the chance to have talks about a potential deal with the player.

The report also states that the Argentine international’s representatives will travel around Europe to get a feel of the options the forward has come the summer transfer window.

Our take: Come on Arsenal this is the perfect chance to get ahead of the queue before the summer window opens.
