Paul Walker’s brother speaks out on return to Fast and Furious finale

  • Cody Walker has ruled out returning as a physical stand-in for his late brother, Paul Walker , in the final Fast & Furious film.
  • He suggested that producers could use artificial intelligence and unused archive footage to recreate the character of Brian O'Conner instead.
  • Cody emphasised that any decision to bring the character back should ultimately be made by Paul's daughter, Meadow.
  • Paul Walker died in a car crash in 2013 aged 40, with Cody and his brother Caleb acting as stand-ins to complete Furious 7 alongside digital effects.
  • Franchise star Vin Diesel has previously expressed his desire to reunite his character, Dominic Toretto, with Brian O'Conner in the upcoming series finale.
