Paul Scholes has sent a savage response to Gary Neville after the latter celebrated the anniversary of his Manchester United debut.
Neville would go on to make over 600 appearances for United. Under Sir Alex Ferguson's management, the 47-year-old became captain of the club and retired with an astonishing medal collection.
Despite going head-to-head with some of Europe's finest during his time at Old Trafford, Neville's first-ever match for the Reds was a little less glamorous. Neville would be handed his debut at home to Torpedo Moscow in the UEFA Cup (what would later become the Europa League).

The now Sky Sports pundit would come on for just three minutes in place of Lee Martin in a game which ended goalless. United would go on to lose the second leg away in Russia on penalties.
Recalling his debut on Instagram, Neville wrote: "30 years ago today, my debut for Manchester United against Torpedo Moscow. 16th September 1992. If I died the next day, I'd played for United. That was the dream."
Not one to miss an opportunity to tease his former teammate, Scholes replied: "It was United fans' dream as well." The ex-midfielder remains close with Neville, despite both having retired from football, through their co-ownership of League Two side Salford City.
Scholes also works as a pundit, most notably for BT Sport, and he was watching from the studio as United beat Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League on Thursday. The Reds will return to action after the international break in the Manchester derby.
