Manchester United great Paul Scholes expects Erik ten Hag to play Bruno Fernandes on the wing to allow the Reds to pack the midfield against Manchester City.
In January, United came back from 1-0 down to win 2-1 at Old Trafford against the Blues. Fernandes scored the opener that day as the Reds opted to move their stand-in captain out wide.
The 4-2-3-1 formation saw Fernandes on the right, other goalscorer Marcus Rashford on the left with Christian Eriksen in the 'number 10 role'. Behind him sat Casemiro and Fred who both earned plaudits for their industrious performances.

Speaking to the Premier League, Scholes admitted he expects Ten Hag to do similar once again. "I think he'll [Ten Hag] play him [Rashford] down the middle because he'll want to get an extra midfield player in there," he explained.
"From past experience, I think you need an extra man, whether it's Fred, whether it's [Scott] McTominay, playing with Casemiro and Eriksen. That will mean Bruno [Fernandes] has to go out to one of the sides.
"I think Sancho's had a really good end to the season and can be a threat against Man City. But they have to pack that midfield."
Ten Hag will be unable to call on the exact line-up which beat the Blues earlier in the season. The starting centre-forward in January's match, Anthony Martial, has been ruled out of today's fixture after suffering a serious hamstring injury which could see him miss parts of pre-season. United scored both of their goals in the Old Trafford win over City after Martial was substituted at half-time.
