Manchester United have another problem to solve under Erik ten Hag according to former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and club legend Paul Scholes, who both noted the 'unbelievable' issue with two attacking players in the derby.
Gunned down by Phil Foden and Erling Haaland in a high-scoring Manchester derby on Sunday, United made the short journey home with their pride severely dented, with even goals from Antony and Anthony Martial (two) scant consolation. It's now back to the drawing board for Ten Hag and his wounded squad.
According to Wenger and Scholes the Dutchman needs to address an issue with wide players Jadon Sancho and Antony, who were heavily criticised by those two pundits in the aftermath. But why, exactly, where Sancho and Antony singled out?

Speaking while on beIN Sports punditry duties, Wenger said: "What was, for me, in that first half unbelievable was Manchester United had defended so badly on the flanks. From the first minute, [Diogo] Dalot got a yellow card and Sancho and Antony didn't contribute defensively.
"In the whole half they were flooded on their flanks and they were always in trouble. After that, when they had the ball, I felt they were obsessed by respecting the game-plan too much, wanting to go forward too quickly and losing so many balls and didn't have enough possession.
"But they didn't play for possession. They just wanted to get on the counter-attack."
Scholes was, meanwhile, slightly less analytical when spotting the same problem. He took to social media after the game where he posted a flashback image on his Instagram profile.
It featured two former United teammates, David Beckham and Ryan Giggs, as he aimed a dig at Sancho and Antony with his caption, which read: "Anyone remember when wingers used to help their full-backs?"
