Former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson has claimed Son Heung-min should be considered in the same bracket of player as the likes of Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne.
Son was just one goal behind Salah in the race for the Premier League golden boot heading into the clash against Burnley, scoring all of his 21 goals in open play. The South Korea international has played a crucial part in bringing Spurs back into the fight for Champions League qualification.
Son and Harry Kane have proved to be one of the deadliest duos in Premier League history. The addition of January signing Dejan Kulusevski has seen Antonio Conte's side leapfrog the likes of West Ham and Manchester United in the Premier League table..

Speaking on BT Sport ahead of Tottenham vs Burnley, Robinson said: "Son for me isn’t talked about in the highest bracket, I’d put him in the same bracket as De Bruyne, Kane, Salah, he’s that good for this team and he’s done it regularly.
"You look at his numbers, you look at his figures, the telepathy between him and Kane. It’s not just one season, it’s over a number of season."
Since signing for Spurs in 2015, the South Korean forward has scored 128 goals in 322 appearances in all competitions. Kane and Son broke the Premier League record for most combined goals between a partnership back in February and have extended the record further since.
Robinson also commented on Kane following Manchester City's announcement that Erling Haaland will move to the Etihad this summer, the former Spurs' goalkeeper said: "You look at Kane wanting to move and his ambitions. Haaland’s taken his place at City, if you look at his [Kane] options, where’s he got an option to win things?
"If bodies come in in the transfer window, if Son sticks around and they build a team around these players. Harry Kane’s 29 now, he wants to win things, he said that at the beginning of the season."
Robinson's praise for Son comes as Spurs look to overtake their north London rivals Arsenal in the table with a win against Burnley this afternoon. The Gunners travel north to face Newcastle at St. James' Park which could see Mikel Arteta's side slip up in the battle for fourth.
