Paul Pogba has insisted Manchester United’s players won’t be affected by the criticism that has been levelled at them recently.
United host Tottenham at Old Trafford as they look to bounce back from their Manchester derby defeat last weekend. In the process, they’ll be hoping to get their top four hopes back on track, having been overtaken by Arsenal.

After another turbulent week at Old Trafford, the hosts will be in dire need of a victory. There have been yet more reports of unrest in the dressing room, with Marcus Rashford considering his future after being named on the bench against Manchester City.
Pogba though insists he and his team-mates will not be affected by the criticism that has come their way in recent days. The French midfielder also knows how important a win over Spurs is for his side.
“We can say it’s a decisive game for us and for them,” Pogba told Sky Sports. “Today for us, it’s very important as we want to bounce back from City definitely, and we want to finish in the top four.
“When you’re here in this club you expect to win, you expect to win every game, you expect to win trophies, and we know that’s what’s been missing. The criticism is a thing that comes with all the big clubs, you have to take it. When you sign here, you know that’s going to happen.”
United interim boss Ralf Rangnick has made a number of changes to his side, with Bruno Fernandes missing out through illness, while Cristiano Ronaldo returns to the side. David de Gea makes the team following doubts over a false positive Covid-19 test.
Rashford is also handed a start, with Anthony Elanga missing out. Meanwhile, Raphael Varane, Nemanja Matic and Diogo Dalot return to the side.
