Paul O'Grady once said he was "terrified" that aliens were keeping a close eye on him.
The TV and radio host, whose BBC Radio 2 show has been taken off air until May, says he once spotted a UFO hovering over his back garden at around 2am.
And ever since then, he's been convinced that creatures from another planet are watching him, and would even have visions of himself waking up and coming face to face with an extra-terrestrial being.
Speaking on his Radio 2 show, Paul O'Grady on the Wireless, in 2018, he got onto the topic after hearing about singer Kim Wilde's belief in aliens.
The 66-year-old said: "I was listening to Kim Wilde and she was going on about aliens. We’ve got ’em in Kent – I’m serious – over Folkestone, Dungeness and Hythe. I’ve seen them, and I’m not the only one – I’ve got witnesses, so I’m not going out of my mind."
The For The Love of Dogs host went on: "These strange light formations in the sky and we don’t know what they are.
"The Army say it’s not them sending flares up, so we don’t know, but I’m just terrified of waking up one night and there’s this thing at the bottom of my bed like ET.
"You don’t know do you? It’s like I’m taking the dog round the orchard and I’ll look up and there are these weird lights. I’m being observed... at 2am."
Earlier this week, Paul spoke out after his show was pulled off the air. It had aired Sundays from 5-7pm.
The star, also known for performing as his alter ego Lily Savage, wrote on Instagram as he posed up with his dog Sausage: "I’m doing my best to look benign, but Sausage has just spotted Nancy dragging a tea towel down the hall and as you can see she wants a bit of the action.
"It’s my last Radio2 Sunday show for quite sometime, our listening figures have shot up so a great big thank you to everyone who listens.
"While I’m on the subject I’d also like to thank my producer (sounds very grand) Malcolm Prince who is one of the best in the business and hasn’t cracked once in the 14 years we’ve been on air."
He added: "There’s a new regime now, I do 13 weeks on and then 13 off which is nothing to do with me as it’s a management decision.
"So, all being well and providing I’m not in India or Borneo, travel restrictions permitting, I should be back some time in May. Take it easy. X @bbcradio2 @malprin."
