Donations to Paul O’Grady’s beloved animal centre look set to hit £100,000 this weekend.
Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has been “overwhelmed and touched” by the reaction of the public after the TV star's death.
Chief Executive Peter Laurie said the charity – which featured in the comic’s TV show Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Dogs – had received countless letters, calls, emails and messages of support.
