Paul O'Grady has issued a health update after stepping down from his BBC Radio 2 show.
Taking to Instagram, Paul posted a snap of himself enjoying a trip to Amsterdam as he joked about his next career move. He wore a cream hat with his blue shirt unbuttoned halfway down as he smiled into the camera whilst aboard a row boat.
He captioned the post: " I wonder if I could start up a Pirate Radio Station on one of these? Boating on the Amstel and I’ve already taken out two pedalos and a swimmer."

Giving an update on his health, the For the Love of Dogs presenter added: "Still sounding like Lee Marvin and inclined to fall asleep after the covid but otherwise ok. I’m home now."
The 67-year-old tested positive for the virus three weeks ago when he was in Malta. At the time he said: "Well it had to happen in the end despite managing to avoid the dreaded covid since we first went into lockdown. I’m in Malta supposed to be filming with a group of lovely people but all I’ve done for a week is lie in my hotel room with an unbelievably vicious headache and cough that sounds like a sick donkey."
Earlier this week, the Birkenhead-born presenter quit his BBC2 radio show after 14 years. Paul said he felt it was the right time to leave after being with the show for over a decade.
In a statement, the television presenter said: "I've loved doing my Sunday afternoon show for the last 14 years and I'm going to miss my listeners as well as the fun I've had with my producer Malcolm Prince, but I feel that now is the right time to go."
Fans have showered him with love since he made his decision, letting him know how much they would miss hearing him on a Sunday afternoon. Liz said: "Don't know how I will cope without you and Malc and the cocktails! Look after yourselves and thanks for all the many years of laughter and joy."
Will said: "Sunday will not be the same without you and Graham. Good luck with all you do." Meanwhile, Samantha said: "Will miss you on a Sunday, you and Malcolm make me chuckle."
