Paul O'Grady shared his appreciation after winning another award for For The Love of Dogs.
The television presenter took to Instagram yesterday evening to celebrate the award he "never thought would ever come his way again" Paul was handed an award for his work on the ITV series For The Love of Dogs, a show that sees the comedian meet dogs in care facilities and the owners who cannot handle them anymore.
The Television and Radio Industries Club (TRIC) awarded Paul for the show which caught the 67-year-old by surprise as he thought there was no possible way it would continue winning awards. His last award from TRIC was back in 2014 when he won the Factual Programme category. Last year he also won a TV Choice Award for the programme.

Taking to Instagram to share his appreciation, he said: "Many thanks to the Public and the Panel at the TRIC AWARDS. ‘For The Love of Dogs’ won in the Factual Category. The series has been going now for eleven years so I didn’t think we’d ever win anymore awards. Huge thanks to everybody who works at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, to all the crew who’ve filmed over the years and of course to all those lovely Dogs and Cats."
Paul has won numerous other awards for the show including a National Television Award and a TV Times award since it first aired back in 2012. Fans and celebrity pals alike complimented him on the milestone achievement, including former EastEnders actress Cheryl Ferguson who said: "Well deserved my pal."
Television and radio presenter, Gaby Roslin, said: "Congratulations my darling." Another kind fan added: "Huge congratulations, it's truly an amazing series highlighting Battersea's continuous work."
