Normal People star Paul Mescal and girlfriend Phoebe Bridgers are reportedly buying their first home together in West Cork.
The couple – who have been dating for almost two years – are rumoured to be in the process of buying their first home together in West Cork’s Schull/Ballydehob.
Paul, who is from Maynooth and Phoebe, who is a California native, have already visited Ireland several times.

Speculation that the couple have bought in the local area after they revealed to pals in recent weeks that they want to buy an old farmhouse.
Colm Cleary of estate agents James Lyons O’Keeffe is believed to be handling the sale, but he declined to comment when contacted.
Paul attended the Fastnet Film Festival in Schull in May of this year, having had two of his films Aftersun and God’s Creatures premiere in Cannes.
Before officially announcing their romance via an Instagram selfie last December, Mescal and Bridgers were friends and admirers of one another’s work. The pair were first linked in the summer of 2020, when they were spotted on a brunch date in Kinsale, Co. Cork. Since then, they have made several public appearances together, and have featured in several loved-up photos on Bridgers' Instagram account.
The 27-year-old musician surprised her fans by bringing Mescal on stage during her final performance at Coachella this year. She even sparked engagement rumours by allegedly referring to Mescal as her "fiancé" at the festival.
The duo could be following in the footsteps of another A-lister and Mescal's latest co-star, Oscar-nominated star Saoirse Ronan, who also bought an Irish base near Ballydehob two years ago.
It’s reported she paid E800,000 for a property in West Cork, overlooking the scenic Roaring Water Bay.
The Carlow Native sold her home in Greystones, called Pine Lodge, in 2019 for €1.6 million, before snapping up the West Cork retreat in 2020.
The 1.25 acre property boasts two bedrooms - one downstairs, with a freestanding bathtub - as well as a spacious open plan living, dining room and kitchen on the ground floor.
There is also a large sunroom, facing the back of the property with a view of the lake. The home is decorated with a blue and white theme, apt for the nautical environment. However, if the actress's former home is any guide, Saoirse will surely be adding pops of colour to the new gaff via licks of teal and peach paint and green velvet soft furnishings.
The upstairs bedroom showcases the home's gable roof, and has a glorious view of the lake.
The property comes complete with direct access to the lake, as well as a mooring for a private boat and access to the local pier.
Fellow actor Jeremy Irons’ also owns a property on the lake, known as Kilcoe Castle.
