Paul Merson reveals off-air Leeds United relegation admission from fellow Sky Sports pundit

Leeds United Paul Merson Sky Sports Southampton Javi Gracia EPL Clinton Morrison Whites Fulham Junior Firpo

Paul Merson has claimed that fellow Sky Sports pundit Clinton Morrison told him that Leeds United will be relegated "five times" off-camera during their 1-0 win over Southampton at Elland Road.

Junior Firpo's first goal for the club sparked wild scenes of celebration in West Yorkshire as Javi Gracia got off to the perfect start in his tenure as Leeds manager. The result saw the Whites move up to 16th in the table, as Everton and Bournemouth both lost their respective matches to Aston Villa and Manchester City.

A midweek FA Cup clash with Fulham punctuates Leeds' Premier League battle against relegation, with a trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea next up for the Whites on Saturday afternoon.
